Strategies to work on with my Year 9 Low literacy students

I will take time to focus more on vocab strategies for my Year 9 students, choosing specific key terms each week (10 - 12). I will give students opportunities to learn key concepts and show they understand these terms through vocab jumble, spelling tests, mix and match with images, writing their own sentences, paragraphs writing towards writing their blogs. Lots of repetitions.
